Open to active NHWGA members and their female family members who meet the eligibility criteria.

2021 Jean E. Lyons Scholarship

Open to female golfers who are residents of New Hampshire and or a member/player at a New Hampshire golf course.

These scholarships are open to female candidates who will be enrolled as full-time undergraduate students at an accredited school during the 2021-22 academic year. Prospective applicants are encouraged to review the eligibility criteria and apply for one or both of the scholarships.  The deadline for submitting the application is May 15th, 2021.  Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, the submission process has been amended to enable scanned and emailed submissions.  More detailed information about the scholarships and the application materials are available at

2021 NHWGA Junior Girls Championship

July 1, 2021 – Beaver Meadow Golf Course – Concord, NH

The Junior Championship is open to all junior girls under the age of 18 as of the date of this event, who
are residents of the state of New Hampshire. Non-resident girls must submit verification of NH Club
affiliation. Contact chairperson for details. Juniors need not be members of the NHWGA or maintain a
GHIN handicap to participate. Caddies are not allowed.

Richard D. McDonough Golf Scholarship Foundation

The McDonough Foundation is a volunteer organization whose sole mission is to provide four-year college scholarships to young men and women, employed at New Hampshire golf courses, who are attending colleges and universities of their choice. The Foundation solicits monies on an annual basis in support of this mission and is a not-for profit organization.
